The Winchester Royal Hotel employee of the month for September has been named as Reservations Manager, Lindsey Trend.

In a month that saw an increase in work load, not only due to a huge increase in enquiries, Lindsey also scored a hugely impressive 99% score on a mystery call during the month.

Naming Lindsey as September’s winner was the decision of General Manager, Louis Rigney, who cited her excellent mystery call result as well as hard work and professionalism as the main reasons.

He said: “It’s always hard to pick out just one member of staff for recognition during the month, but Lindsey’s work ethic and customer service qualities made her my choice for the month.

“It’s not been an easy month with everybody’s workload going through the roof, but Lindsey has shown the kind of qualities I expect from my staff. Seeing her scoring so highly on her mystery call was so pleasing and shows the high standard she has set. Anybody who calls the reservations department at the hotel will know how professional, yet friendly, Lindsey is.”
