February’s Winchester Royal Hotel Employee of the Month has been named as Bryony Anning.
Receptionist, Bryony, joined the team at the Winchester Royal Hotel three months ago and has shown a fantastic desire to learn, while building a great rapport with guests and colleagues alike.
During the month, the reception team were incentivised to get more guests dining in the hotel’s Garden Restaurant with Bryony topping the table with impressive figures.
Louis Rigney, General Manager at the Winchester Royal Hotel, praised the whole reception team but explained why Bryony was the stand-out choice. He said: “We run an incentive for the reception team with the aim of getting more guests to stay and have dinner in the hotel. It’s hard to single out just one member of the team as they all performed superbly.
“However, Bryony topped the charts with a very impressive conversion rate and coupled with her great attitude, she’s a deserving winner. Bryony has only been with us for about three months and is a great addition to our team, settling in extremely well.
“Receptionists play such an important role in any hotel in forging the all-important first and last impression, as well as delivering key messages to guests. We have a lot of satisfied guests at the moment and long may that continue.”
