Ryan Mears from the Food and Beverage department is the latest winner of the Winchester Royal Hotel Employee of the Month Award.
Having been with the team for a year, and having very little experience when he joined, Ryan has developed significantly and is displaying a great confidence and positive attitude towards his work and the hotel guests.
In receiving March’s Award, Ryan was also praised for some notable mentions on TripAdvisor with one making a special mention to Ryan as “very professional and courteous.”
General Manager of the hotel, Louis Rigney, said: “Whenever I see a staff member mentioned on TripAdvisor, I take notice. During March, Ryan received two notable mentions for going the extra mile for our guests, which is of huge satisfaction to me.
“It always nice when you see someone grow into a role and Ryan’s done exactly that. He had very little experience when he joined and now he’s showing a great amount of skill and confidence.
“These monthly awards are great for highlighting individual qualities, but it’s as a team that we are strongest. Ryan fits really well in that team and we hope that he, and the team, go continue to go from strength to strength.”
