Macmillan Coffee Morning at the Winchester Royal Hotel
Friday 27 September 2019, 10.30am – 1pm
The Winchester Royal Hotel will be hosting a Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday 27 September 2019, once again taking part in creating the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
Each year the cancer support charity, Macmillan, encourages venues from across the country to join in and help raise money for people living with cancer.
Hotel guests at the Winchester Royal Hotel as well as visitors and local residents are welcome to join the team in the hotel lounge area from 10.30am until 1pm with not only coffee, but tea and a selection of cakes available too. All donations made will go directly to Macmillan Cancer Support.
Last year’s coffee mornings alone raised just under £27 million nationally with donations since the first in 1990 in excess of £200 million. The Macmillan charity as a whole raised more than £230 million in 2018 as 1.9 million people received personal, in-depth support.
